Sue Malone is the founder and CEO of STRATEGIES FOR SMALL BUSINESS, a company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. Over the course of 20 years, Sue has successfully funded more than 30,000 businesses.
A strong advocate for entrepreneurship and inclusion, Sue serves on multiple national boards focused on supporting diverse business owners. She travels across the country, connecting with and empowering small business owners—particularly those from minority, women, and veteran backgrounds.
Driven by a deep passion for helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams, Sue has received numerous awards for her impactful work in fostering small business success. She is also actively involved in private equity and investment funding, continuously developing innovative financing programs to meet the unique needs of every business. As Sue often says, "Not every business owner wears the same size shoe."

Advocate for Veterans and Entrepreneurs
Sue Malone serves on several prestigious national boards dedicated to veterans and entrepreneurship. She is the President of the nonprofit American Economic Empowerment and co-founder of Women's Military Exchange: Operation Next Step. Sue is also one of the founding members of VetPower.org and Vet-Power.org, both organizations focused on providing veterans with opportunities for entrepreneurship and job placement.
In addition to these roles, Sue is a board member of the National Forum on Diversity in Construction and the National Institute of Minority Economic Development. She is also a board member of Institute Capital, Institute Community Development Initiative, and OCRA. Sue is a proud member of the American Legion's Small Business Task Force and an active participant in the Long Beach Accelerator.

A passionate advocate for small businesses, Sue has helped author multiple new loan and equity programs designed to support small business growth. She also ensures that the voices of small business owners are heard and represented in Washington, D.C.
A serial entrepreneur, Sue has started over seven businesses and holds an MBA from St. Mary's College.
